Programme Overview

The Diploma in Electronic Engineering at FKTEN UniMAP is a three-year foundation-level programme designed to equip students with solid theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical skills in electronic engineering. It serves as both a direct entry point into the electronics industry and a recognised pathway to bachelor degree studies.

Students explore a broad spectrum of electronics — from analogue and digital circuits to microcontrollers, communication systems, and power electronics — through a curriculum that balances classroom learning with intensive laboratory work and an industrial training placement in the final year.

Entry Requirements

SPM / Equivalent:
Minimum 3 credits including Mathematics and Physics or Additional Mathematics.

Vocational / Skills Certificate:
SKM Level 3 in a related electrical or electronic field with minimum Grade C in Mathematics.

Other Qualifications:
Any qualification recognised by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) as equivalent.
