Programme Overview

The Bachelor of Microelectronic Engineering with Honours programme curriculum has been designed to render the needs of knowledgeable, highly skilled engineers in parallel with the Malaysian National Industrial Master Plan aspiration. The programme focuses on industrial exposure, through direct involvement with the industrial sector. This four-year programme emphasises on integrated circuit (IC) design and IC fabrication, which include semiconductor technology, microfabrication process technology, microelectronic reliability and failure analysis.

In addition, the programme covers semiconductor physics, Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) as well as IC packaging. Students benefit from state-of-the-art cleanroom facilities and industry-linked projects, gaining practical skills sought by Malaysia's semiconductor industry and global employers.

Programme Highlights
